With wild rhinos facing so many threats, and some rhino species numbering fewer than 100 remaining individuals, everyone needs to take action. Only by working together and uniting resources can groups dedicated to saving rhinos fully restore their populations in Africa and Asia.

The collaboration between the Rhino Recovery Fund and its partners is the engine that drives our goal of rhino recovery closer to success. Whether through direct conservation actions, advisory roles, or liaisons with local communities and governments, each of these organizations is helping create a safe future for rhinos.

Oak Foundation

Oak Foundation is family-led and reflects the vision and values of its founders. In all its work Oak pursues rights-based approaches, gender equality and partnership with the organisations we fund. They support civil society as a pillar of democracy and justice and nurture innovation and visionary leadership within it. They value diversity both within Oak and among our partners; they seek to be inclusive, flexible and engage with different points of view. They believe that the best grant-making reflects both careful due diligence and the willingness to take risks. Learn more.

Re:wild

Re:wild launched in 2021 combining more than three decades of conservation impact by Leonardo DiCaprio and Global Wildlife Conservation, leveraging expertise, partnerships and platforms to bring new attention, energy and voices together. Collectively with their partners in more than 50 countries, in 2020 alone they worked to conserve over 45 million acres of wild places and to reverse the plight of 835 threatened species. Wildlife Conservation Network

The Wildlife Conservation Network’s (WCN) mission is to protect endangered wildlife by supporting conservationists who ensure wildlife and people coexist and thrive. WCN invests in a select network of on-the-ground conservationists, offering the financial resources, tools and services they need to effectively protect wildlife. WCN also creates large-scale Wildlife Funds, investing in projects that can protect a threatened species across its entire habitat. As no one organization or person can save wildlife alone, WCN emphasizes collaboration, connecting conservationists and supporters and creating a community united in a passion for wildlife.
