Improving Communication to Better Disrupt Wildlife Crime in Eswatini

Grantee Big Game Parks
Type Tackling Trade in Rhino Horn
Grant Amount $69,763
Duration 1 year

Eswatini is a very small Southern African land-locked country which sits between Mozambique and South Africa. Big Game Parks work in landscapes that are great habitats for both black and white rhinos. The RRF funded Big Game Parks to monitor Eswatini’s current rhino populations and protect them. This will be achieved by supporting their radio communications infrastructure, therefore allowing proper communication between managers, rangers, and police to disrupt wildlife criminals effectively.
