3rd Asian Rhino Range State meeting at Chitwan National Park, Nepal

The International Union for Conservation on Nature (IUCN)/Species Survival Commission’s (SSC) Asian Rhino Specialist Group in association with the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Government of Nepal is organizing the 3rd Asian Rhino Range States meeting in Chitwan National Park, Nepal. The RRF awarded Aaranyak to implement this meeting whereby RRF’s Director, Markus Hofmeyr, will attend. Chitwan National Park in Nepal currently holds the second largest wild population of Greater One Horned Rhino. It is expected that five Asian Rhino Range States representatives from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Indonesia and Malaysia will attend this meet.
